Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Advocate specializing in Tax Law, based in Chennai. The primary responsibilities include providing legal research and drafting support, assisting with case analysis, representing clients in legal proceedings, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The Junior Advocate will collaborate with senior legal professionals to build case strategies and maintain updated knowledge of tax law and associated legal procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Legal Research, Case Analysis, and Regulatory Compliance related to tax law
• Experience in Drafting, Legal Documentation, and Client Communication
• Basic understanding of Taxation Laws, Corporate Law, and Dispute Resolution
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent qualification; enrollment with the Bar Council is required
• Prior experience or internship in tax law is an advantage
