Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Advocate role based in Navi Mumbai. The Junior Advocate will handle legal research, drafting, and reviewing contracts and legal documentation. Responsibilities include assisting senior advocates, representing clients in court and arbitration proceedings, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. The role requires effective communication with clients and coordination with the legal team for case strategy and case management.
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to source and interpret legal precedents and case laws.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including petitions, contracts, and case briefs.
- Solid understanding of litigation processes and court procedures, with experience in client representation and court appearances.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while supporting team initiatives and organizational goals.
- LLB degree from a recognized institution; additional legal certifications or training are a plus.
- Membership in a recognized Bar Council with valid certification to practice law in India.
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory for candidates demonstrating strong foundational skills.
