Shanbhag Law Associates is a litigation-focused law firm based in Bengaluru, representing individuals, businesses, and institutions before the Karnataka High Court, City Civil Courts, Commercial Courts, Family Courts, Consumer Forums, and Criminal Courts. Our practice spans civil, criminal, commercial, constitutional, family, and regulatory litigation.
We are looking for a motivated Legal Associate with strong research, drafting, and courtroom skills who is keen to build a long-term litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings including:
- Plaints
- Written Statements
- Writ Petitions
- Criminal Petitions
- Bail Applications
- Appeals
- Review Petitions
- Miscellaneous Applications
- Legal Notices
- Replies and Rejoinders
- Written Arguments
- Conduct legal research using SCC Online, Manupatra and other legal databases.
- Appear independently before trial courts, magistrate courts, tribunals and assist senior counsel before the High Court.
- Attend client conferences and maintain case files.
- Prepare case briefs, chronologies, witness examination notes and hearing notes.
- Coordinate filing, court registry compliance and procedural requirements.
- Liaise with clients, court staff, advocates and government authorities.
- Maintain litigation trackers and ensure adherence to court timelines.
- Assist in strategy discussions and preparation for hearings.

Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- Enrolment with any State Bar Council.
- 0–1 year of litigation experience.
- Candidates with internship experience in litigation are encouraged to apply.
