Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Advocate based in Chennai. The Junior Advocate will assist senior advocates in legal research, drafting and filing petitions, affidavits, and other legal documents. Responsibilities include appearing in court for hearings, client consultations, and case strategy discussions. The role also involves reviewing legal documents, coordinating with clients, and maintaining case files and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong research, drafting, and legal analysis skills
• Proficiency in document reviewing, case management, and maintaining legal records
• Good verbal and written communication skills, along with client handling capabilities
• Understanding of Civil, Criminal, Family Law, and Accident Claim proceedings
• Enthusiasm for ethical legal practice and commitment to professional excellence
• Ability to collaborate with senior advocates and legal teams
• A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university
• Enrollment with the Bar Council and prior internship experience is advantageous
