Role Summary
The Junior Admissions Counsellor is the first point of contact for all inbound and outbound leads. The role involves engaging prospective candidates, understanding their requirements, explaining program details, and guiding them through the next steps. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with candidates and scheduling consultations with University Experts/Counsellors. This is a target-driven role that requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
• Contact leads via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn
• Make up to 5 structured follow-up attempts per lead
• Understand candidate interest across programs: UG, PG, PhD, DBA, Diploma, Honorary Doctorate
• Explain program highlights, eligibility, and next steps clearly
• Handle basic queries and objections professionally
• Schedule Zoom meetings with University Experts/Counsellors
• Maintain accurate records of leads in the CRM
• Follow up regularly until final status (converted / lost / next cycle)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and confident phone etiquette
• Basic understanding of education programs
• Ability to build rapport quickly with candidates
• Good follow-up discipline and CRM handling
• Target-oriented and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
• 0–1 years of experience in telesales, admissions, or inside sales
• Freshers are welcome to apply 🎯

• Familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage
