Are you passionate about education and helping students achieve their dreams of studying abroad? Join our dynamic team as a Junior Admission Expert (Life Sciences) and help guide aspiring students towards their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Student Support
- Act as the first point of contact for students, answering basic queries about the study abroad process and Ambitio's services.
University Research
- Research universities, Life Sciences programs, admission requirements, application deadlines, and scholarship opportunities aligned with student profiles.
Documentation Assistance
- Assist students in preparing initial drafts of resumes, Statements of Purpose (SOPs), and other application documents under the guidance of senior admissions experts.
Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and application statuses within internal systems.
Coordination
- Coordinate with students and senior mentors to schedule counselling sessions and ensure application timelines are met.
Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on global education trends, visa processes, admission criteria, and developments within Life Sciences programs across leading universities.
Education (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or a closely related discipline is mandatory.
- Degrees in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, Neuroscience, or other Life Sciences fields are highly preferred.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Communication
- Exceptional written and verbal English skills.
- Comfortable writing professional emails and interacting with students.
Research Skills
- Strong ability to navigate university websites, analyse admission requirements, and extract relevant information such as deadlines, tuition fees, prerequisites, and scholarships.
Attitude
- Curious, detail-oriented, empathetic, highly organised, and eager to learn.
- Passion for helping students build successful international education journeys.
