Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant – Tally entry role based in Ranchi. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries. The role includes maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, supporting preparation of basic financial reports, and organizing accounting documents. The Junior Accountant will coordinate with senior accounting staff, respond to internal queries related to accounts, and assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tally and basic accounting principles, including ledger posting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate data entry and validation of financial records.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements relevant to construction or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work with MS Excel and other office productivity tools for reports and documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with finance and project teams.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Preferred qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance is an advantage, especially in construction or project-based environments.
