Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Goregaon, Mumbai, India. The Junior Accountant will manage daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, oversee accounts payable and receivable, assist with reconciliations, and prepare financial reports. They will also collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with tax regulations, maintain data accuracy, and support audits. The ideal candidate should demonstrate attention to detail and an understanding of financial and accounting principles.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping
- Proficiency in financial reconciliations and preparation of financial reports
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, or other ERP systems
- Familiarity with tax compliance, GST filings, and other regulatory financial procedures
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Professional certifications, such as CA Inter or equivalent, would be an advantage
