Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in Zoho Books and strong Excel skills, preferably from a manufacturing or export house background. The candidate should be comfortable handling day-to-day accounting operations, cost tracking, and financial data management in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Zoho Books
- Handle purchase entries, sales invoices, and vendor/customer reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records of production costing and inventory transactions
- Assist in GST compliance, filing, and documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations and track payments/receivables
- Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial insights
- Work closely with production and merchandising teams for cost calculations
- Ensure proper documentation for export-related transactions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Zoho Books (mandatory)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data handling, basic analysis)
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial entries
- Experience in manufacturing / garment export industry preferred
- Ability to handle calculations, costing sheets, and data accuracy
- Basic knowledge of GST and compliance
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Prior experience in a garment factory or export house will be a strong advantage
