Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, organized, and comfortable working with numbers in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial records
Handle day-to-day accounting entries and journal postings
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings
Prepare invoices and track payments
Help in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
Maintain proper documentation and records for audits
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred)
0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Indian taxation basics
Proficiency in MS Excel
Experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Good to Have
Internship experience in accounting or finance
Basic knowledge of financial reporting
Exposure to audits and compliance processes
Working knowledge of SaaS business models
