Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant, located in Bengaluru South. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Daily tasks will include bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with finance and operations teams will also be vital to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze financial data and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- Previous experience or internships in accounting or finance is a plus
