Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily bookkeeping, assisting with financial reporting, preparing invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing expense tracking. The role requires ensuring compliance with financial policies and supporting financial audits when needed. Additionally, the Junior Accountant will collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in an accounting role is preferred but not required
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Understanding of tax compliance and local financial regulations in India is a plus
