Job Title: Junior Accountant (New Zealand Accounts)

Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to manage and maintain New Zealand-based accounting operations. The role requires basic accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records for New Zealand clients
- Handle bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and assist in month-end closing
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with GST and tax-related documentation (NZ compliance)
- Ensure accuracy and timely updates in accounting records
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients when required
Software Requirement
- Hands-on experience or basic knowledge of Xero (preferred)
- Familiarity with Excel / Google Sheets, Zoho book
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
- 0–3 years of accounting experience (freshers can apply)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good to Have
- Knowledge of New Zealand accounting standards
- Experience in handling international clients
- Understanding of GST (New Zealand)
