Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant, located in Ahmedabad. The Junior Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and prepare reports. Additional tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with tax filings, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves supporting senior accountants and contributing to month-end and year-end financial processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in logistics or supply chain accounting is beneficial
