Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in the Pune Division. The Junior Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, assist in the preparation of financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The role also involves collaborating with team members to manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and budgeting tasks, while supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting principles, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Receivable, and Payroll Management
- Strong skills in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role or internship in the finance sector is a plus
