Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in paota C-Road The Junior Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing accounts receivable/payable, and assisting senior accountants in audits and other financial processes. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software and familiarity with general ledger entries and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and capability to reconcile accounts
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance, and bookkeeping practices
- Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial audits
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior experience in accounting roles or internships is a plus
