About the Role
We are looking for a sincere, detail-oriented, and responsible Junior Accountant to join our accounts team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and day-to-day accounting activities. Experience with MCS accounting software will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions accurately in MCS software.
- Prepare and maintain purchase, sales, cash, bank, and journal entries.
- Handle GST accounting, reconciliation, and assist in GST return preparation.
- Deduct, record, and maintain TDS as per applicable rules.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, and supporting documents.
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
- Assist in monthly and yearly account closing.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax professionals whenever required.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Support other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred. Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting rules.
- Basic understanding of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of MCS software is preferred (training can be provided if required).
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
