Role Description
This is a full-time remote Junior Accountant role based in India, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. You will own day-to-day financial record-keeping for a portfolio of US-based creator clients using QuickBooks Online — ensuring books are accurate, up-to-date, and tax-ready, with a clear path to grow your responsibilities and credentials over time.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably with US-based clients
- Solid working knowledge of US GAAP: accrual vs. cash basis, revenue recognition, and balance sheet fundamentals
- QuickBooks Online proficiency required; ProAdvisor certification is a plus
- Highly proficient in Excel using keyboard shortcuts
- Comfortable using AI tools in your daily workflow (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 65 WPM
- Available for meetings 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday
- Enrolled Agent (EA) designation not required to start but strongly encouraged - earns +$250/month upon certification
