As we grow, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. We’re looking for someone who wants to provides support to Senior Accountants and drive quality and efficiency across their portfolio.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex accounting matters, assist in client engagements, and provide support to team leads and senior accounatnts. You will prepare and review financial statements, and contribute to process improvements across the firm.

The Role
In this role, you will:
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
- Categorize transactions and review bank and credit card feeds for proper classification.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts regularly.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory standards.
- Review the work of junior team members and provide feedback.
- Support internal reviews by preparing schedules and documentation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and internal management reports in accordance
- with US GAAP.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and assist with ad hoc financial analyses.
- Perform other accounting-related and administrative duties as needed

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university, and actively pursuing a professional designation such as CPA, ACCA, or CA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero (preferred but not
- required).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fully remote team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets).

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures
- Prepare schedules and documentation for internal reviews
Core Accounting & Review
- Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Categorize and review transactions from bank and credit card feeds for appropriate classification
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
