Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in bhubaneswar. The Junior Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, prepare financial statements, oversee accounts receivable and payable, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. The role also entails working closely with the finance team to maintain accurate records and supporting audits when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting practices, bookkeeping, and preparing financial statements
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation tasks
- Familiarity with accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in tally.
