We own a jewellery store located on Amer Road in Bharampuri, and we need an accountant. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in jewellery accounting, as well as strong expertise in handling complete accounts work for e-commerce operations. We currently have a Senior Accountant on staff, and we are looking to hire a junior accountant to support them.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Amer Road, Bharampuri, Jaipur. The Junior Accountant will oversee daily accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing invoices, and supporting monthly and annual financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local finance regulations, assisting with audits, and providing support to senior accounting staff in budget preparation and expense tracking.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping principles, including general ledger entries and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and ERP systems
- Basic knowledge of Taxation, GST compliance, and financial regulations in India
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in an accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing or export industry, is an advantage
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
