Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant based in Kolkata. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting in audits. The role also includes reconciling accounts, managing invoices, and providing support with budget preparation. Additionally, the individual will ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks or Tally
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
