Role Description
The Junior Accountant will manage daily financial transactions and provide accurate reporting to ensure the company’s financial health. Responsibilities include verifying financial records, processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll, preparing tax documentation, and contributing to audits. The candidate will ensure financial statements comply with laws and regulations and support the finance team with additional tasks as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting and bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience preparing tax documentation and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Strong analytical skills for financial reporting, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools; familiarity with spreadsheet management
- Ability to analyze data, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to accuracy
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to financial and tax records is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent qualification/experience)
