Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Jharkhand, India. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and supporting financial audits. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting regulations, managing invoices, and assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting efforts.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, general accounting principles, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reconcile accounts
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organizational and time management skills for handling multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with taxation, budgeting, and financial compliance regulations (a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
