Role Description
This is a full-time Junior Accountant role based on-site at our Chennai office.
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, monitoring budgets, and assisting with audits and financial statements. Additionally, the role involves admin and vendor management, as well as supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and familiarity with accounting software
- Admin and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Zoho and Tally.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in a similar accounting or finance role is an asset but not mandatory
