Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Surat. The Junior Accountant will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, handling tax filings, and assisting with monthly and annual financial reports. The role also includes processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, verifying expense reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the senior accounting team with various tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, journal entries, and preparing financial reports
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
- Working knowledge of accounting software and spreadsheets, such as QuickBooks, Tally, and Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies
- Understanding of taxation processes and compliance regulations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple assignments efficiently
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus
