Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Surat for a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, reviewing and reconciling accounts, assisting with budgeting, and supporting audits. Additional duties include ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping, including experience with managing financial records and preparing financial reports
- Knowledge of accounts reconciliation, budgeting, and tax preparation
- Experience using accounting software and tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous
- Prior experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is a plus
