Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Vadodara. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in tax compliance. The role involves working closely with the finance team to ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools, such as Tally.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing financial transactions
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and clients
- Proven ability to work independently with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in a financial institution or the loan distribution industry is an advantage
