Job Title: Junior Accountant
Salary : 18,000 to 20,000 PM
Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong educational background in commerce who is looking for a long-term opportunity for learning and growth within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals using Tally or other designated accounting software.
- Tax Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of documentation related to GST (Goods and Services Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), ensuring timely submissions and compliance.
- Office & Communication Support: Handle general office tasks, including proficient use of MS Office (Excel and Word) for reporting and documentation.
- Mail and Correspondence: Efficiently manage finance-related communication, email correspondence, and documentation management.
- Reconciliations: Support the team with bank and vendor reconciliations as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background: Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Commerce, such as B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or MBA.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience working in an accounts department or a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm.
- Software Proficiency: Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting software, preferably Tally, or equivalent robust accounting platforms, Power BI.
- Tax Knowledge: Practical working experience and solid understanding of GST and TDS concepts and processes.
