Role Description
This is a full-time Junior Accountant role based on-site in Bengaluru. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and assisting with tax compliance. The role also involves supporting budgeting, financial planning activities, and auditing processes while ensuring adherence to regulatory and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in general accounting principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Strong financial reporting and analysis skills to assist in preparing financial statements and budgets
- Familiarity with tax compliance and auditing practices
- Experience with accounting software Tally
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools
- Applicant must already be based in Bangalore
