About Benne – Heritage Bangalore Dosa
Akhil and Shriya, a filmmaker and a psychologist, shared a deep love for dosas. Missing the iconic Bangalore-style dosa in Mumbai, they embarked on a quest to recreate their childhood favorite. About This Role
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, handling routine accounting tasks, and ensuring timely documentation of all financial transactions across our outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting entries including invoices, bills, receipts, and payments
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tracking and reconciliations
- Perform bank, cash, and POS reconciliations on a regular basis
- Maintain proper documentation for invoices, vendor bills, and expense records
- Support GST filings, TDS documentation, and other statutory requirements
- Track outlet-level expenses and flag discrepancies or missing documentation
- Assist in preparation of basic financial reports and summaries
- Support internal and external audits through accurate data and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- 2 - 4 years of accounting or finance experience
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Expertise with accounting software (Odoo/Tally) and MS Excel
- Understanding of GST basics and statutory compliance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Prior exposure to F&B, hospitality, or retail operations is preferred
Compensation
Negotiable, based on experience.
