Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Machilipatnam. The Junior Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, which include maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role also involves assisting in audits, preparing tax filings, and supporting the senior accounting team.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and experience with accounts payable/receivable
- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Prior experience in the food production or manufacturing industry is a plus
