Role Overview:
We are hiring an Accountant with experience in retail/showroom accounting to handle day-to-day accounting operations, sales transactions, stock accounting, and GST compliance. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing high-volume retail transactions and coordinating with store teams for accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting activities for retail showroom operations
- Handle sales accounting including cash, card, UPI, and online transactions
- Maintain stock and inventory accounting, reconciliation, and valuation
- Perform bank, cash, POS, and sales reconciliations
- Prepare MIS reports related to sales, stock, and expenses
- Support GST compliance, documentation, and audit activities
- Coordinate with store managers and internal teams for smooth operations
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience as an Accountant in Retail / Showroom Sales
- Strong knowledge of inventory and stock accounting
- Experience with retail billing and POS systems
- Good understanding of GST and basic accounting processes
- Tally knowledge is mandatory
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong communication and coordination skills
