About The Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling utility payments via credit cards, downloading invoices from utility portals, and uploading them to Payment Processing portals such as AvidPay, AvidStrongroom, etc., for processing. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and a good understanding of accounts payable functions in the Property Management Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process utility payments using credit cards, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Download invoices from various utility company portals and verify billing details.
- Upload invoices to Payment Processing portals and ensure proper coding and approval workflows.
- Reconcile payments and track outstanding invoices to avoid late fees or service interruptions.
- Communicate with vendors and utility companies to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Work closely with the accounting teams and managers to streamline payment processes.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and invoices for auditing and reporting purposes.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or property management accounting (not mandatory; Freshers can also apply).
- Experience handling utility payments and working with third-party accounting platforms (not mandatory; Freshers can also apply).
Qualification & Skills:
- Experience in accounts payable, property accounting, or utility payments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ramp credit cards and AvidStrongroom is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payment schedules.
- Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and invoice management tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
