Role Description The Junior Accountant and Compliance Executive will support day-to-day accounting, taxation, and compliance operations for a diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include maintaining books of accounts, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, supporting GST and income tax return filings, and helping with TDS, ROC, and other statutory compliances. The role involves coordinating documentation for audits, basic financial reporting, and assisting in registrations such as GST, IEC, and MSME where required. The Executive will work closely with senior team members to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Udaipur.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements.
- Understanding of direct and indirect tax concepts, including basics of Income Tax, TDS, and GST compliance.
- Familiarity with corporate and statutory compliances such as ROC filings, annual returns, and other regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Effective analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of confidentiality and integrity.
- Educational background in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent); pursuing professional qualifications such as CA will be an advantage.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in a CA firm or finance function is preferred but not mandatory.
