About the role
ADS certification is a must - Accessible Document Specialist
Our ideal candidate is passionate about accessibility!
As part of the ADA Strategy & Experience team, within the Digital Accessibility Office, you'll primarily be responsible for making sure our external documents and communications are universally accessible with a focus on platforms; including those that create PDFs, Emails, and other document formats.
Creating accessible experiences are key to customer interactions. Although many of our documents are static and can be remediated inline with the work process, some are dynamically created/generated and require work to be completed at the platform level. This requires understanding and interaction with the platform itself.
In addition to working on platform accessibility, you will also be involved in providing overall AES capabilities.

You're an Accessibility Champion: You'll help create an inclusive environment by continually advocating for accessibility with every decision.
You Communicate with Confidence: Your solid interpersonal skills are a must for collaborating with diverse stakeholders, product owners, and internal team members. You'll focus on articulating the value of accessibility and universal usability.
You're a Team Player: When you think of teamwork, you think partnership. As a team member, you're focused and goal oriented, ready to pick up and pitch in where you can help out always advocating for accessibility best practices!
