We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Engineer to join our renewable energy team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in solar power system design, installation, or project execution and possess a strong understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems.
The Solar Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of solar power projects including rooftop, ground-mounted, and commercial solar systems. This role requires collaboration with project managers, design engineers, and site teams to ensure efficient execution of solar installations.
Key responsibilities include preparing solar plant layouts, system sizing, energy yield analysis, and technical documentation. The candidate should be comfortable using solar design tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar software to prepare accurate system designs.
The Solar Engineer will assist in site surveys, technical feasibility analysis, equipment selection, and system optimization to maximize energy generation and project efficiency. The role also involves coordination with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are maintained.
Additionally, the candidate will help monitor plant performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and support the operations and maintenance (O&M) team when required. Knowledge of solar components such as inverters, modules, transformers, cables, and mounting structures will be beneficial.
- Applicants should hold a B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. Strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and willingness to learn new technologies in the renewable sector are essential.
