ZeroPlug Power & Mobility Private Limited is rapidly scaling as Eastern India’s premier integrated energy infrastructure developer. We are building a "Dual-Ecosystem" for a net-zero future, executing institutional-grade, cyclone-proof rooftop solar plants for Group Housing Societies (RWAs) and deploying high-throughput DC Fast Charging EV corridors across Odisha.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly driven, technically rigorous Jr. Site Engineer to be our boots on the ground. You will serve as the critical bridge between our engineering design team and physical site execution. If you understand the electrical physics of a 60kW DC Fast Charger, know how to cast foundations for a cyclone-grade solar canopy, and can confidently explain technical feasibility to an RWA President, you belong with us.
Core Responsibilities:
- Site Feasibility & Audits: Conduct comprehensive technical site surveys at premium housing societies (RWAs) and commercial hubs. Accurately assess roof integrity, shadow mapping, cable routing, and TPCODL grid load capacities.
- Execution & Supervision: Supervise the end-to-end physical installation of Solar PV systems (modules, string inverters, HDGI structures) and EV Charging hubs (civil pedestals, trenching, chemical earthing).
- Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Manage local electrical and civil contractors on-site, ensuring daily deployment targets are met strictly within the prescribed timelines.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all civil and electrical works strictly adhere to ZeroPlug’s Tier-1 safety and quality standards (e.g., maintaining N-E voltage <3V, 180 km/h wind load compliance).
- Commissioning Support: Assist the Project Management team with final system testing, CEIG safety compliance, and TPCODL net-metering synchronization.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hardcore, on-site execution experience specifically in BOTH Commercial Rooftop Solar installations and EV Charging deployments.
- Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of Solar Balance of System (BOS), Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), inverter commissioning, and EVSE safety protocols.
- Professional Communication: You will be the face of ZeroPlug on the ground. You must possess the professional demeanor required to interact with RWA executives, society presidents, and property owners during inspections.
- Agility: A proactive, problem-solving mindset. Infrastructure deployment moves fast, and you must be able to troubleshoot on the fly.
