Role Description The Jr. Roaster role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This role involves operating roasting equipment under supervision, following standard recipes and process guidelines to ensure consistent product quality. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and preparing raw ingredients, monitoring roasting times and temperatures, recording production data, and assisting with basic machine checks. The Jr. Roaster is expected to follow safety and hygiene protocols, support cleaning and maintenance of the work area, and coordinate with senior roasters and quality staff to meet production targets. The role also includes learning and applying company standards for flavor profiles, texture, and appearance across different product lines.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures for roasting and food preparation.
- Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and workplace safety in a production environment.
- Attention to time, temperature, and measurement accuracy, with willingness to learn equipment operation.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and readiness to take feedback from supervisors and senior staff.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, handle moderate lifting, and work in a heat-intensive environment.
- Prior experience in food production, roasting, or a similar manufacturing setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; vocational training in food technology or production is a plus.
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
