Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Jr. Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai. As a Jr. Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing cost control processes, conducting cost planning, and generating detailed cost reports. You will collaborate closely with design and project teams to ensure budgetary alignment and contribute to effective project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost control, cost management, and cost planning techniques
- Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and managing cost-related documentation
- Strong skills in cost reporting and maintaining accurate financial records for projects
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and numerical proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Good understanding of construction and design processes
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying is an advantage
- Experience 2-4 years in architecture firm.
