Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Purchase Executive to support our procurement operations. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in sourcing materials, vendor coordination, maintaining records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods as per company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations
• Compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines from vendors
• Prepare and process purchase orders
• Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation and delivery follow-ups
• Maintain purchase records, invoices, and documentation
• Track inventory levels and report shortages
• Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project requirements
• Support senior purchase team in negotiations and vendor management
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction or infrastructure industry (added advantage)
• Familiarity with billing and basic accounting entries
• Knowledge of vendor management
