Role Overview
As a Product Strategy Executive, you will handle the complete lifecycle of a product. From identifying what should be made, to shaping how it’s designed, priced, positioned, and finally launched on the website you’ll own the process. You’ll work directly with the founders and play a key role in shaping the brand’s product roadmap. This is not a coordination role. This is an ownership role.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
1. Product Ideation & Strategy
Identify new product opportunities in spiritual and designer jewellery
Build product concepts based on trends, cultural moments, and brand positioning
Validate ideas using market data and customer behavior insights
Decide pricing strategy and margin structure
2. Market & Competitor Research
Track competitor launches, pricing, positioning, and bestselling SKUs
Study domestic and global jewellery trends
Identify white spaces in the market
Present structured research to founders with action recommendations
3. Product Development & Design Coordination
Work closely with designers, vendors, and manufacturers
Finalize materials, finishes, sizing, packaging, and detailing
Ensure products align with Mesmerize’s spiritual and premium positioning
Approve samples and ensure production quality standards
4. Merchandising & Range Planning
Build collections with clear themes and positioning
Plan product drops and seasonal launches
Ensure strong assortment balance (price bands, categories, gender, spiritual/designer mix)
Monitor inventory planning along with operations team
5. Website Go-Live Ownership
Coordinate product shoots and asset requirements
Finalize product names, descriptions, benefits, and storytelling angles
Ensure pricing, variants, SKU structure, and details are correctly uploaded
Work with the website team to ensure smooth launch
6. Post-Launch Performance Tracking
Track sales performance and customer feedback
Identify winners, slow movers, and opportunities for improvement
Suggest pricing changes, bundling, or repositioning where required
Who We’re Looking For
1-2 years of experience in product strategy, merchandising, fashion, D2C, or jewellery
Strong research mindset — not surface-level thinking
Detail-obsessed and structured in execution
Comfortable working directly with founders
Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and positioning
Ability to turn insights into actual product decisions
Bonus if you have:
Experience in jewellery or lifestyle D2C brands
Understanding of spiritual product categories
Basic knowledge of Shopify or e-commerce platforms
