Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Field Engineer based in Chennai. The Jr. Field Engineer will assist in performing field tests, including geotechnical investigations, plate load tests, and pile testing. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining testing equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing on-site technical support. The role also involves documenting results, collaborating with teams, and assisting in project management tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Field Service and Technical Support, particularly in civil material testing and geotechnical investigations
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment or testing challenges
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and maintain clear communication with team members and clients
- Basic understanding of Project Management principles to assist in planning and executing testing activities
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment and adhere to safety standards
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in civil or geotechnical field testing is an advantage
