Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Jr. Engineer role based in Palwal. The Jr. Engineer will support daily production and engineering activities, including monitoring machines and processes, assisting with equipment setup, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures. The role involves coordinating with senior engineers and production staff to resolve technical issues, reduce downtime, and improve product quality. The Jr. Engineer will help collect and analyze basic production or process data, prepare routine reports, and maintain accurate documentation and records. The position also includes supporting preventive maintenance schedules, following workplace safety guidelines, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering principles, with the ability to apply them in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, process documents, and equipment manuals to support daily operations.
- Competence with MS Office or similar tools for preparing reports, maintaining logs, and documenting process observations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities for addressing routine technical and process issues.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, operators, and supervisors on-site.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related field) from a recognized institution.
- Willingness to work on-site in Palwal, learn from senior team members, and adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in manufacturing, automotive, or related industries is an advantage but not mandatory.
