Job Description: Jr. Embedded Hardware Engineer - Drone Technology

As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in developing high-performance embedded solutions that power next-generation UAVs.
Job Summary
We are hiring an Embedded Hardware R&D Engineer to design, test, and improve drone hardware. You'll work on embedded systems, multilayer PCB design, BOM preparation, and communication protocols, collaborating with teams to enhance our drone technology. The role involves working with drones, ESP32, MSP430, STM32, and integrating key components like IMU sensors (BMI, BMO), BLDC motors, ESCs, and Battery Management Systems (BMS) to develop high-performance embedded solutions.
Key Responsibilities
● Design and develop multilayer PCBs for drone applications.
● Prepare and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for embedded hardware.
● Work with PCB design software (KiCad, Allegro, Altium) for schematic capture and layout.
● Develop and integrate embedded systems using ESP32, MSP430, and STM32.
● Implement and optimize power electronics including buck, boost, and LDO regulators.
● Interface and test IMU sensors (BMI, BMO), BLDC motors, ESCs, and BMS.
● Work with communication protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C for sensor and module integration.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance drone performance.
● Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of embedded hardware.
● Research and implement new technologies to improve product quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
● Degree in Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
● Experience in multilayer PCB design and BOM preparation.
● Proficiency in KiCad, Allegro, or Altium Designer.
● Knowledge of embedded systems, ESP32, MSP430, STM32.
● Experience with IMU sensors (BMI, BMO), BLDC motors, ESCs, and BMS.
● Understanding of power electronics (buck, boost, LDO).
● Familiarity with UART, SPI, and I2C protocols.
