Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Design Engineer, based in the Pune Division. The Junior Design Engineer will be responsible for assisting in product design processes, creating and optimizing computer-aided designs, and supporting engineering teams with mechanical and electrical design tasks. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, providing technical insights for product improvement, and ensuring designs meet all requirements and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Design Engineering and Product Design
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering principles and applications
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (Solidworks)
- Familiarity with Electrical Engineering concepts related to product development
- Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback and testing results
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation
- Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work on-site and collaborate in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in design or engineering role
- Freshers with strong academic projects can also apply
