Empact Studio is a multidisciplinary experience design company that works at the intersection of spatial design, technology, storytelling, and immersive environments.
We design and build experiences for events, exhibitions, museums, experience centres, brand spaces, cultural installations, and fixed environments. Our work brings together creative thinking, architectural design, technical systems, AV, lighting, LED, content, and on-ground execution to create spaces that are memorable, immersive, and emotionally engaging.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Architect / Interior Designer to join the Spatial Division at Empact Studio.
This role is ideal for a fresher or someone with up to 1 year of experience who is interested in working beyond conventional architecture or interiors. The candidate will assist in developing spatial layouts, design drawings, 3D models, presentation material, and experience-led environments for a wide range of projects.
The role involves working closely with senior designers, creative teams, technical teams, and project teams to translate ideas into practical and buildable spatial designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating spatial layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Develop design presentations, moodboards, references, and concept layouts.
- Create SketchUp models and basic 3D visualizations for events, exhibitions, museums, installations, and immersive spaces.
- Support the team in designing layouts for stages, experience zones, LED screens, AV setups, lighting, truss, passages, installations, and spatial environments.
- Work with creative and technical teams to align design intent with practical execution.
- Assist in site measurements, site coordination, and documentation when required.
- Participate in brainstorming, design reviews, and internal project discussions.
- Learn and adapt to new workflows, design tools, event technology, and experience design processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design is required.
- Diplomas will not be considered for this role.
- AutoCAD and SketchUp are a must.
- Good understanding of scale, proportion, space planning, layouts, and detailing.
- Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare clean drawings, basic 3D models, and presentation material.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
- Should be willing to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Should be open to site visits and project-related coordination when required.
Added Advantages
- Knowledge of Vectorworks will be a massive plus.
- Knowledge of Blender, 3ds Max, or any other 3D software will be a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with rendering, AI design tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, or presentation design will also be beneficial.
- Interest in events, immersive design, exhibitions, museums, lighting, AV, LED screens, and technology-led spaces will be valued.

Probation & Commitment
This role includes a 3-month probation period.
