Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Architect to support the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior architects and cross-functional teams to develop design concepts, technical drawings, and project documentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—from concept development to construction execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and layouts.
- Develop accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
- Support design development from conceptual stages through construction documentation.
- Create presentation materials, renders, and client submission documents.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure design alignment.
- Conduct site visits, assist in site coordination, and track on-ground progress when required.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to local building codes, by-laws, and project specifications.
- Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, design changes, and site conditions.
- Maintain organized project documentation, drawing logs, and version control.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- 0–2 years of experience in an architectural or design firm (freshers are welcome).
- Internship experience in architectural practice is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D visualization tools.
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and materials.
- Strong design sensibility with attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
