Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role located at our office in NIBM, Pune. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for daily financial operations, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation of financial transactions. The role also involves preparing financial reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and collaborating with the finance team to support seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Experience with account reconciliation, ledger maintenance, and accounts payable/receivable management
- Familiarity with financial software and tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant applications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are a plus
