Role Description
We are seeking a Jr. Accountant for a full-time, on-site position at our NIBM Pune office. The Jr. Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling transactions, and managing invoices and payments. The role involves assisting with GST and tax filings, preparing financial reports, and collaborating with other departments on budgeting and cost analysis. The ideal candidate will also support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliation
- Familiarity with GST laws, tax filing processes, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to utilize accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for budgeting and cost analysis
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and data management capabilities
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, office-based environment in Pune
